Media Information 2002
Bursting forth from the increasingly fertile musical landscape of Providence, Rhode Island, Immune has made an immediate impact upon a worldwide audience. With a unique musical approach forged from influences ranging from Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Beatles to Nirvana and Radiohead, vocalist/guitarist Rob Shulze, guitarist Chris Deziel, bassist Dave Boccuzzi and drummer Jon Hakanson manage to combine classic songwriting sensibilities with the more visceral impact of modern/alternative rock to create a sound and a style entirely their own.

Currently, Immune find themselves expanding the boundaries of both their music and their career with buzzworthy performances throughout New England and into the Midwest, includingng slots for Dreamworks recording artists Lifehouse, Maverick recording artists Tantric, and a showcase at the 2002 Midwest Music Summit in Indianapolis. Immune has also continued to garner favorable local and national media coverage as a result of extensive commercial and college radio airplay nationwide based on the strength of their current single, "Crush" , as well as the resounding success of their previous single, "A Million More", which appeared on the Space 380 compilation CD Transmission 4. In addition, several episodes of MTV's The Real World - New Orleans and Making the Band/O-Town featured tracks from Immune's debut EP, Somewhere in the Middle, as well as their self-titled follow-up. The band is scheduled to have music featured on The Real World - Las Vegas as well, with Bunim-Murray Productions recently licensing "Crush" for use in their programs.
